When you log in to your Kannu account, the first page you will see is the Admin Dashboard. You can also access it once you are logged in by using the left-hand navigation menu and selecting Dashboard.
The Admin Dashboard is where you can see an overview of the latest activity in your institution.
PENDING COURSE REQUESTS
When an instructor submits a course for approval, it will appear on your Dashboard as a pending course request. It will also appear on the Courses page, under Pending Courses.
Under Actions, you can choose to either Approve or Decline the course request. (See Figure 1).
Accepting a pending course will make it visible to everyone at the institution. Instructors can still continue to edit and add content to the course once it is visible. NOTE: Students will only be able to view and enroll in courses after they are approved by administrators.
Declining a pending course will keep it in draft mode, so it will not be visible in the catalog. Instructors can continue to develop the course in draft mode, but students will not be able to enroll in or view the course.
The Admin Dashboard also has a quick-invite feature that helps you invite new instructors to create courses. By entering the instructor’s Name and Email, and clicking Invite, you will send the instructor an invitation by email to create an account on Kannu and start authoring courses. (See figure 2).
